Local Communities
We are also pleased to be supplying The Aspinall Foundation with a number of bespoke Bowlphish Glass Wipe Boards – featuring custom artwork from some of the beautiful wildlife they work to protect. These boards will be used to facilitate learning and spark inspiration as part of the charity’s educational work with schools and local communities right here in Kent – through its two parks; Howletts and Port Lympne. Stay tuned to see the case study of their bespoke glass wipe boards in production.
Kilimanjaro Challenge
What’s more, this great charity has clearly sparked some inspiration here at The Glass Wipe Board Company; not only is the company doing its bit to make a difference, but our team are also going to be getting fully involved and doing their bit to spread both awareness and funds for the charity. Our Operations Manager, Sam Dewhurst, will be getting his hiking boots on as he attempts the charity’s Kilimanjaro Challenge in September 2020; taking on the highest mountain in Africa to raise yet more funds for their work.
You can follow his progress and donate via his GoFundMe page.
So, have you been inspired by just this small taster of what this great charity is doing? Do you fancy getting involved and doing your bit to make a difference? If so, stay tuned, because throughout 2020 we’re going to be doing lots of campaigns, competitions and initiatives to both raise money and encourage more fellow businesses to reduce their carbon footprint and do what they can to protect the environment.
